What will I do as an online teacher at Acadsoc?
Your duty here will be: Teaching Chinese students’ English courses via messaging and teaching software provided by Acadsoc online. In brief, all your work will be finished on a computer with internet.
How will I receive my salary?
Acadsoc will pay tutors’ service fee twice a month, on the 1st-3rd and 16th-18th of each month (if there is a public holiday in China, it may be delayed). Payments will be transferred via PayPal or bank account. If you do not have a PayPal account, you may process your Paypal application using this link: https://www.paypal.com/ph/webapps/mpp/account-selection
What are the requirements to become a teacher?
1. PC or laptop (at least Windows 7, Intel Core i3, and 4GB Ram)
2. Has a stable DSL / Broadband / Fiber Internet connection with 3 Mbps Download and 2 Mbps Upload
3. Noise-cancelling headphones and HD webcam
4. If you are using IOS operation system, please notify your HR in the interview.
What are the available working schedules?
Enjoy a work-life balance by choosing your own work schedule. We require at least 25 hours work time during our peak schedules which covers Monday to Friday (6 PM to 11 PM) and Weekends (10 AM to 11 PM). You may also open day time schedule if your performance data is good. And during summer holiday and winter holiday, whole day schedule is needed and the booking will be almost 100%. Want to earn more? Plot as many classes as your heart desires and make sure you have no absence and complaints which helps you bulid a good reputation among the students. Check the booking rate with your TM and get their advice.
What are the main courses I teach?
Our teachers are well equipped to handle Basic English, Business English, Kids English, Review and Exam Preparation Courses, Advanced English and Conversational English. Even new tutors are provided in-house trainings to help them to be the best teacher they truly are.
Do Acadsoc have offices in the Philippines?
Indeed! Our offices are strategically located at Alabang, Quezon City, Ortigas City, Ilo-ilo and Cebu City. More offices will be opened soon as Acadsoc continues to expand and reach out to all aspiring tutors who wants to teach but has no means of doing so from home.
What tools are Acadsoc teachers using?
As we aspire to provide comfort and convenience for both our tutors and students while having their classes, we are using A-classroom and Classin as our user-friendly teaching platforms.
I am a former teacher; how can I teach again?
If you pass all TESOL exams:
You may contact PHCS (Tel: 0908-422-3844/0916-790-4671) to seek assistance in reaching to your TM for their approval. If the TM approves of your return, your account will be reactivated.
If you have not taken the TESOI exam or you fail:
